Serious/Urgent Repairs

Serious defects noted that require urgent repair, replacement, overhaul or further investigations or tests by an appropriate contractor, specialist or engineer.


Less serious defects that are not considered to be as urgent, but nevertheless will require attention, repair, overhaul or replacement in due course.

RICS HomeBuyer v Novello HomeLevel

Both the RICS HomeBuyer and Novello HomeLevel reports are level two reports, which means they are a visual inspection of all accessible areas, but are less comprehensive than a full building survey. The RICS HomeBuyer Report is over 25 years old and in that time a lot has changed in the property world. That’s why we have developed our own Novello HomeLevel report as a bespoke product that provides you with the information you want and need to purchase a home in the 21st Century.

We believe our HomeLevel reports is easier to understand and goes further to provide you with a clearly ranked list of the most significant defects.

This service is delivered in accordance with the Home survey standard (1st edition) RICS professional statement and is equivalent to a level two survey.
