Jack Pye MRICS, nominated for RICS Matrics Surveyor of the Year Award
We’re delighted to announce that our Co-founder and partner, Jack Pye MRICS, is a finalist in the Residential Property Surveyor of the Year category for his work establishing Novello Chartered Surveyors.
Alongside James Brook FRICS, he co-founded Novello in 2019, on the cusp of the coronavirus pandemic. Despite this, under Jack and James’s passion and leadership, Novello has not only grown but thrived. The business has gone from a two-person team to a nationwide company that employs over 20 members of staff.
Jack and James created Novello to shake up the surveying industry. They are fierce opposers to over-working surveyors and giving them tens of surveys to complete on a weekly basis. Novello does things differently – each surveyor is given a much smaller caseload to ensure every client gets the best possible service.
This approach has resulted in a reputation for excellence in the industry and beyond, thanks to Jack’s tireless efforts to invest in our staff, services and client management. This extends to every corner of the business, with Jack delivering the highest-quality, in-house training for all Novello staff to make sure that each surveyor delivers a gold-standard service and has the space to grow and develop in their careers.
This nomination is a fantastic validation of all the fantastic work that Jack contributes to Novello Chartered Surveyors. A member of the team recently described him as “The kingpin in this firm, the quiet, reliable guy who always makes time to speak to everyone and loves organising social activities, creating the family feel in the firm. He is always there to support everyone in a constant positive way. Quite frankly, he is a remarkable person”
Congratulations, Jack – we are keenly awaiting the results of the awards, which will be revealed in a few months! Until then, we hope you’ll join us in wishing Jack the best of luck.
