As a self-confessed Property Geek, being a surveyor is the perfect profession for Caroline. Buying your dream home can throw up some challenges, and Caroline finds it rewarding to guide customers through the process and take away some of the stresses of the property market.

Caroline’s interest in property comes from her father, who was an excellent carpenter. Growing up, she often spent time helping him make things and carrying out household repairs. Following university, Caroline worked for a loss adjuster, specifically dealing with subsidence claims, where she gained a thorough understanding of the process. She then worked in an estate agency for many years, gaining in-depth knowledge of the sales and legal process involved with house purchases, and this is where she honed her valuation skills. As soon as the opportunity arose to gain her professional qualification in surveying, she grabbed it with both hands.

Having covered north and East London for large corporate surveying firms, Caroline is now an expert in mortgage lending requirements and has in-depth knowledge to advise on cladding and the EWS1 process, as well as the run-of-the-mill Surveying and Valuation services. Caroline for Novello Surveyors now covers North, East and Central London, knowing the areas she covers exceptionally well.
